Located on Lake Orta, in the heart of Piedmont, 1 hour from Milan's inner city, and 90 minutes from the centre of Turin, the hotel offers ample opportunities for day trips, water sports as well as hiking and more gentle relaxing walks. It is a 45-minute drive from Milano Malpensa International Airport.||This is a historical residence in Moorish style built in 1879. Dominated by a minaret, it is surrounded by a large park sloping down to the lake. The charming hotel has 14 rooms. Guests are welcomed into a lobby at this air-conditioned establishment and facilities include a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and lift access. There is a café and a restaurant on the premises. Guests can take advantage of the hotel's Internet access and room service and those arriving by car may park their vehicles in the hotel's car park.||The hotel offers accommodation with splendid 4-poster double or king-size beds, each one themed with different colours and furniture. The period furniture and soft furnishings, frescoed ceilings, elegant en suite marble bathrooms with showers and hot tubs are natural features in all rooms, each of which has its own personality and a regal atmosphere, worthy of the noblemen who have slept here during the course of villa's colourful history. In-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, safe and minibar. Air conditioning and heating are standard features in all accommodation. Each room has its own balcony or terrace.||The hotel also has a sauna and a wide range of massages and health treatments are available on request. The newest treatments are Shiro, Hot Stone Massage and Shiatsu, straight from Eastern traditions. There is a golf course located nearby.||The exclusive atmosphere of the hotel is complemented by the restaurant, personally run by the Cannavacciuolo family, which offers modern Mediterranean cuisine and the finest of Italian, French and international wines.
